Sweet revenge

Following the supreme court decision that the suspension of parliament was illegal Boris Johnson moved a motion for a short suspension for the Conservative Party conference. It was defeated.

Labour and the LibDems have already had their conferences, so this move is basically reciprocal spite, although it seems that the defeat was in part due to some of the suspended rebels also voting against. Personally I think they should have let is passed, but niceties are long out the window.

Boris Johnson is going for a vicious “people vs. parliament” election so he has to expect his opponents to play as dirty as he is.
